The American Godzilla franchise initially began in 1998 (although the first American Godzilla film was released in 1956) and includes few films (with some cancelled titles too), TV-shows, video games, soundtracks, books, comics, magazines, toys and other merchandise. Here are complete lists of where the American Godzilla is featured in media. The Japanese Godzilla franchise, however, began in 1954, and still runs today, whereas the American Godzilla franchise also still runs but hasn't been as active.

Godzilla: The Series | 1998-2000 | Audu Paden | Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich |
Instead of making a trilogy of films, this TV-series (which was in production at the same time as the main film) got to continue the GODZILLA franchise instead. The TV-series is not necessarily considered canon, but can be seen as an alternate spin-off sequel.
Robot Chicken | 2005-present | Seth Green and Matthew Senreich | Seth Green and Matthew Senreich | In the Robot Chicken episode That Hurts Me, the segment Godzilla Remade Again featured Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich remaking Godzilla once more; the segment goes on to show a scene of Baby 'Zillas attacking, only to begin inexplicably roller skating and dancing in a rink. When the studio head bemoans the fact that he trusted Devlin and Emmerich to make a decent Godzilla film, for the second time, and that they instead have produced an unmarketable "pile of crap", for the second time, Devlin and Emmerich give each other a high-five. |

Doritos | 2006 |
Godzilla made an appearance in a 2006 Doritos commercial, in which he picks up a truck of Doritos and shakes chips into his mouth. In another Doritos commercial, he devours a spicy variant of Doritos, roars in pain, and dives into the Hudson River. Both seems meant to parody the bait scene in the 1998 movie.
